American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her first professional appearance was in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the short-lived series The Ex List. In the first season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the second season, she played Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on The NBC show This Is Us. She also voices several characters from the animated series Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They went through a few moves before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she started to develop an interest in acting, photography and singing. When she was 15 she and her mother moved back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
